It depends on the stump's diameter, how many you have, and access — but stump grinding is one of the most affordable services we offer, and multiple stumps on one trip get volume pricing. Tell us how many and roughly how big, and we'll give you a firm number for your Central Minnesota property — usually right over the phone or from a couple photos.
Below grade — deep enough to seed grass over the spot, and deeper on request if you're planting, building, or running a fence line through it. We grind the visible stump plus the surface roots that would snag a mower.
Your choice: we can backfill with the grindings and mound it slightly to settle level, haul the chips off and backfill with clean fill, or bring in screened black dirt for a seed-ready finish that blends into the lawn. We'll recommend what fits your plans and budget.
Yes. Our grinder gets through standard gates and works close to structures, and our skid loader handles the big open stuff. If a stump is inches from a foundation or utility, we'll tell you honestly what can and can't be done safely in Central Minnesota.
